Megan Hanks (she/her) - Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist

Allow me to introduce myself and express my commitment to providing exceptional and unprejudiced dental hygiene services, backed by 20+ years of experience in the field.
I graduated from Wake Technical Community College in North Carolina with an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene. Additionally, I have several years of experience as a dental assistant, which has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of treatment needs, options and techniques.

I strive for a compassionate and personalized approach to patient care. I believe in treating each patient with empathy and tailoring their care to meet their needs, which often helps my patients feel at ease. To ensure that my dental services meet the highest standards, I continuously update my knowledge and expertise by staying current with the latest studies and techniques. It is one of my highest priorities to teach prevention and deliver holistic care.

I am passionate about promoting oral health and educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene to their overall health. During each appointment, I work diligently to make the experience gentle and thorough, efficient yet well-explained. I pay meticulous attention to detail and draw upon my years of experience in various departments of dental work to ensure that my patients receive nothing short of my utmost dedication and effort.

My main goal is to apply all my experience to giving back to those most in need. With a deep-seated commitment to making a tangible difference, I strive to channel my knowledge and skills toward improving lives in the face of adversity. I aim to contribute to societal progress and elevate the human condition conscientiously.

*Having been born and raised in Alaska, I have a deep passion for the outdoors. During my free time, I adore engaging in activities like camping, disc golf, volleyball, creating art, and exploring the breathtaking beauty of Oregon. Moreover, I am fortunate to have four incredible kitties who certainly add life and vibrancy to my home.
